The Kakagon and Bad River Sloughs have been selected as a Wetland of International Importance by the Ramsar Covention on Wetlands. This is likely the single highest level of international protection a wetland can receive. Click HERE for the news. The Chippewa Flowage, 75 years later

The Chippewa Flowage, or Lake Chippewa is a huge man made lake that flooded old Ojibwe villages at Lac Courte Oreilles. This 15 minute documentary reflects on the history, the legacy and the hopes today.
